B1 10th Lit/Comp

  • As a class, read and discuss “A Toast to the Oldest Inhabitant: The Weather of New England” by Mark Twain and “The Dog That Bit People” by James Thurber (p. 250-262)
  • In pairs or groups, do p. 263 #1-3 (Submit everyone’s names and answers on one paper)


B3 American Lit

  • Milestone Test THIS Wednesday AND Thursday (reminders and questions)
    • On Wednesday AND Thursday of this week, report to Mr. Teal's room (H4) at 8:05 (Mr. Green will proctor your test in Mr. Teal’s room)
    • BE ON TIME!
    • You MUST bring your FULLY-CHARGED laptop to test BOTH DAYS
    •  Remember, the Milestone counts for 20% of your final grade in this course
    • Seniors taking American Lit must take the Milestone (you are not exempt)
    •  Remember to use cited textual evidence in constructed responses even if the question does not ask for it specifically
  • USA Test Prep Assignment Group “Milestone Prep (summative grade)”
    • Due date: Midnight tonight, will not be accepted late, summative grade
    • This is a large assignment group, so use your class time today to work on it. You may work on it at home as well.
